The Department of Art and Archaeology at Princeton University is pleased to announce a call for applications for a 12-month postdoctoral or more senior research associate in Indigenous and Native North American Studies with the possibility of renewal for another year based on satisfactory performance. The selected candidate will engage in research on any aspect of Indigenous and Native North American Art and Archaeology while in residence at Princeton for the 2023-24 academic year. The successful candidate may be asked to teach one or two courses per year, pending sufficient course enrollments and with the approval of the Office of the Dean of the Faculty. Additionally, the candidate will participate in the scholarly life of the Department, including the presentation of a public lecture or work-in-progress seminar. The candidate will also participate in Indigenous Studies initiatives across campus. Ph.D. required.
