POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE , Mechanical Engineering , to perform cutting-edge research on projects centered around natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning methods applied to real-world data in the Design Computation and Digital Engineering (DeCoDE) laboratory. Will primarily work on a project funded by an international development agency to explore ways to automate the aggregation of evidence and the production of evidence maps. It will require developing innovative tools to improve the speed and quality of evidence review. Will be responsible for researching, designing, and applying automation methods and machine learning algorithms to study gap maps; and for filtering and comprehending documents on domains like agriculture, resilience, water and sanitation, nutrition, etc. Job Requirements Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
