Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The University of Maryland in conjunction with the NIST Center for Neutron Research is seeking an exceptional Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct research on solid electrolyte cathode interfaces. In this position, the postdoc will apply Neutron Reflectometry and / or Cold Neutron Depth profiling and other thin film characterization techniques to investigate degradation mechanisms in occurring at interfaces between Li-garnet (LLZO) and both cathodes and cathode compatible electrolytes. This position will be based at the NIST Center for Neutron Research in Gaithersburg MD although frequent interactions and some research activities will be carried out with collaborators at the nearby University of Maryland College Park and the Army Research Lab in Adelphi MD. |
