Brief Job Description
Provides leadership, oversight and coordination of college planning and assessment functions. Works closely with a broad range of constituents (internal and external) to carry out program review and assessment activities and ensure that results are incorporated into college planning and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsible for the development and dissemination of descriptive and analytical data related to academic and administrative programs, institutional and program accreditation, institutional effectiveness, outcomes assessment and program review, acquisition and evaluation of grants, enrollment and financial planning and budgeting, and required state and federal reports.
Manages the Institutional Effectiveness and Planning Office. Hires, orients, supervises and evaluates professional and technical staff. Establishes priorities for work assignments, monitors progress and reviews work product and ensures that reports/information are delivered in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree with emphasis on research activities from an accredited institution
Experience in research, planning, assessment and budgeting activities related to higher education.
Knowledge of research design and methods, including use and interpretation of statistical data, appropriate to the higher education environment; broad knowledge of all components and functions associated with higher education.
Ability to: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the President and all levels of management, faculty, staff and students; communicate effectively, including advanced writing, and presentation skills; perform highly responsible research and analytical activities; effectively manage professional, technical and administrative staff.
